Hells Angels claim there is no war with Pagans
Wednesday, 01/19/05

In a statement to the press released by attorney Ronald L Kuby, the Hells Angels Philadelphia claim there is no war with the Pagans motorcycle club after last weeks shooting of Thomas "Thinker" Wood, Vice President of the Philadelphia chapter.

Just about everybody in the biker community believe the shooting was done by members of the Pagans motorcycle club in an ongoing tit-for-tat feud involving ex members of the Pagans, now turned Hells Angels.

John LoFranco, president of the Philly chapter disputed rumors of a war and criticized law enforcement officials for irresponsible and false remarks that could inflame the situation.

"Hiding behind the cowardice of anonymity, law enforcement sources have recklessly or deliberately made provocative and dangerous comments that inflame, rather than calm, the situation."

Thomas Wood was shot in the head early Friday while driving his pickup truck home from a party at Cheerleaders. Wood was driving beside Byron Evans who was on his Harley Davidson. Both were wearing their colors. Two men in a white SUV opened fire, killing Wood.
