Sunday, 01/16/05

Pennsylvania - It started several years ago with the patchover of several members of the Pagans motorcycle club to the Hells Angels. Since then, tensions have been high. The Pagans want their colors back, and the turncoats aren't in a giving mood.

First round was with the Pagans attacking the Hells Raisers Ball held by the Hells Angels. there have been tit-for-tat battles since. The latest incidents have been the killing of Thomas Wood, member of the Hells Angels, gunned down while driving his pickup truck two nights ago and a New Year's Day brawl at a bar in Burlington County in which Hells Angel Vincent Henrich, 36, was beaten on the head with a board.

No arrests have been made in either incident and New Jersey State Police spokesman Lt. Kevin Rehmann. stated that police had no information at this time to believe the two incidents are related.

At an afternoon press conference, Philadelphia Police Commissioner Sylvester M. Johnson said, "We're not going to deal with any sort of retaliation . . . We will not tolerate a war here in the city of Philadelphia."
